Shown in Attribute to America, Costume Jewelry 1935 -1950 by Carla and Roberto Brunialti, it is ranked four stars out of five in terms of rarity. It is marked sterling Pat No 108229.

The pin measures 1 5/8” in diameter and weighs 14.8 grams so it has a good weight. It is in excellent vintage condition with a warm patina, no dings, chips or cracks and guaranteed to be vintage.
