Product Description
The Victorian period is filled with elegant and feminine jewelry. Yet some are so rare, they deserve a category all of their own. These tortoise shell earrings are such an item. The coloration is lovely and transitions from color to color beautifully.
The earrings are uniquely shaped with a rich combination of fluidity, points and angles. Unfortunately, one of the points and angles did not survive. These are so distinctive I had to offer them for purchase.
The gold balls and wire on the inside are solid gold and the Shepard’s hook is gold filled although these can be replaced for solid gold.
The earrings are 2” long by 1 3/8” wide. There are in as is condition > with a warm, unpolished patina, and guaranteed of the period. They are a welcome addition to the Treasure Chest and priced accordingly.
