Eisenberg produced a large quantity of retro modern jewelry and this is another fine example of that wonderful period between the late 1930’s to 1940’s. There is a clean openwork design and colorless stones that are brilliantly white and clear. Eisenberg used only the best stones and most of his early pieces can be identified this way.
The fur clip has a variety of prong set stones including large cushion cuts, a large center oval and nine tremendous marquise. The mix of shapes and the open work combine to make this another distinctive piece of outstanding jewelry. It is made of pot metal, quite substantial and although not signed, is attributed to Eisenberg Original. Clip it to your favorite rhinestone necklace and really make a statement!
The fur clip measures 2” by 1 1/2”. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or replaced stones and guaranteed to be vintage Eisenberg.
