Designed by Eugene Bertolli for Napier in the 1950’s, this elegant ballerina pin and earrings demi parure is truly sensual. The quality of the set is superior in both design and casting technique.
This desirable pin pendant shows off femininity at its best. The ballerina is “on toe” and glancing seductively over her shoulder. Her bodice is low in the back showing off a well-defined physic. The skirt billows and is beautifully shaped. The clip on earrings are perfection in miniature. The pin suspends from a marked sterling chain. The pin is signed Napier sterling on the back.
The clip on earrings are both signed Napier sterling on the vertical mechanism and one of the clip backs is also signed. One of the clip portions is a replacement and not sterling.
The pin measures 1 3/4” by 2” and weighs 37.4 grams. The earrings are 1 1/8” in diameter and each weighs 10.4 grams. The sterling chain is 18” long. It is in excellent vintage condition with a warm, unpolished patina and guaranteed vintage Napier.
