Miriam Haskell produced high quality hand constructed pieces that had flair and flamboyance that continued even during WWII when materials were scarce. This is another perfect example to add to your eclectic collection.
This marvelous, Frank Hess designed, dangle pin is a creative combination of a wooden beads, thermoplastic buttons and silk thread. The beads are individually sewn onto a silk covered spring-loaded wire and are very secure. The pin suspends from a wired that is attached to a pierced backing on the wood log. If you collect Frank Hess WWII pieces. This isn’t one to miss.
The pin is 2 ¾” long by 2 ½” wide. It is in very very good vintage condition with no cracks or splits and guaranteed to be vintage Miriam Haskell. The wood is slightly faded which is why it is not listed as excellent.
