Deco has many styles and one of the most desirable is the Egyptian Revival era jewelry. These earrings are an exemplary example of that exceptional, Egyptian design.
The screwback earrings have gripping, ancient Egyptian overtones expressed in finely sculptured lines depicting a Pharaoh. The earrings have three long chains comprised of colorful Czech glass beads that are almost 1 7/8” long. They suspend from a pierced white metal frame that holds the green and red glass Pharaoh and have a bezel set white rhinestone at the top of the screwback finding.
A powerful representation of this period, each earring weighs 3.5 grams.
They are 2 1/2” long by 5/8” wide in the oval center. They are in excellent vintage condition with a warm unpolished patina and guaranteed to be of the period.
