Reja produced fabulous jewelry for a short period of time, between January 1941 to December 1953. And this retro 1940’s pin is attributed to the company.
The prong set cherry red emerald cut rhinestones literally pop! They are non-foil backs so the light comes through creating the effect of real rubies as seen in estate jewelry. The sterling has a gold wash that has some minor wear and provides interesting texture to the over all look and feel. It is a testament to the fabulous period of jewelry that Cartier and Tiffany made famous.
The pin measures 2 5/8” tall and 2 ¾” wide.” It is in excellent vintage condition with normal wear on the wash consistent with age and has no chips or cracks and guaranteed to be vintage Reja. It is marked sterling on the back.
